About the airport

RHO lies by the village of Paradisi on the west coast, about 14–15 km south-west of Rhodes Town, the island's capital, roughly a 20–25 minute drive from the centre on a clear run, longer in peak summer traffic. It operates from a single passenger terminal, run by Fraport Greece, serving domestic Greek and European flights, and it is one of the country's busiest airports in summer. Greece keeps Eastern European Time (UTC+2), with summer time (UTC+3) from late March to late October; the currency is the euro (EUR), and cards are widely accepted.

Getting from the airport to Rhodes Town

There is no train or metro on Rhodes, so almost everyone travels by road. The main options are:
